Üdv! Problémám akadt az RM (RV40) formátum lejátszásával az Mplayer-en. Windows alatt használom,a "régi" 0-19-0 fordításodat. Ez viszi legjobban az említet formátumot is, de 512x384 feletti felbontásnál erõteljesen szaggat. A gépem egy 950 MHz celeron amin szerintem mennie kellene. A framedrop kikapcsolásával jó lesz, de így teljesen elmegy az A-V szinkron. Ha átméretezem a -vf scale paranccsal valamelyest jobb. A double buffer és a direct rendering opciokkal a legjobb az eredmény.Más video kimenetnél és újabb verzióknál a jelenség sokkal rosszabb. Tudtok még valami tippet, mit lehetne vele kezdeni, vagy törõdjek bele.

Hi there folks. I'm trying to play a DVD from folder and it seems it doesn't work. I was just wondering if someone else ever tried that and if it worked for him. There is a possibility that I just don't know how to use it. So, please HELP !

I downloaded and installed mplayer_setup_0-19-0_full.exe on my Thinkpad X20 laptop, which runs XP Pro XP2. I tried playing both DVDs and dvd files copied to the hard drive. I added them to the playlist and pressed Start. I got a brief flicker and some disk noise, but nothing displayed. The computer has PowerDVD on it, which plays DVD files, but they're somewhat choppy, and I'd heard Mplayer would do a better job. So far, no job at all.

Unfortunately mplayer has lots of issues with realaudio. Why is the version on this site of mplayer insisting on using cook3260.dll? This codec is supposed to be built in. Secondly cook3260.dll uses up a lot of CPU(AMD ATHLON 1400). Also when using cook3260.dll as a realaudio filter, OPTIONS ON THE COMMANDLINE AS FAR AS BUFFERING, BANDWIDTH, ARE TOTALLY IGNORED AS THE CODEC IS NOT A NATIVE MPLAYER CODEC!! Audio from cook3260.dll also seems to stop playing after 2 minutes and there ain't much one can do about it. The internal codec also initially suffered from this problem, but I found out the solution by using the -bandwidth 40000 option. If only the player on this site would rather use the internal ffpeg cook filter this problem would be lessoned since it does listen to mplayers commandline. I have also tried MPlayer for Windows(MPUI). It does not even look at cook3260.dll that exits in its codecs directory but uses ffmpeg cook regardless. Unfortunately, when it comes to playing siphr real audio web streams, MPUI, gives seeking errors & will not play them. The mplayer on this site does play siphr web audio streams. Any of the newer verions of mplayer that I have tried do not play siphr audio web streams. Can you please somehow disable cook3260.dll on a version of the mplayer of this site and use the ffmpeg cook codec instead? Thank you.

i am using mplayer for 2yrs.recently i faced a probelm in Mplayer+fronted 0.19.0.when ,the video display becomes green. also when i press the F key on key-board in mplayer for windows it is not displaying any video but it can play only audio, please try to solve the problem

szia, az mplayer boldog felhasználója voltam, amég el nem ment a hang. Letöltöttem egy DVD-t, elõször torzan játszotta a hangot, aztán sehogy. A hangkártya rendben, más programból kapok hangot. Lehet, hog ya DVD másolásvédett volt? Van ötleted? kösz dzs

Mpf has a bug, since very early. When I drag and drop .VOB files (DVDs Mpeg2), it puts it on subtitle box, instead of the Media file box. So I have to cut and paste on the box above. That's it, the rest is great. Excelent front end. Use it all the time. If not VLC, mpf is my choice.
